2019–2021Moulage, lacquer on wood, ceramic, wood box · 50 × 70 × 15 cm
This artwork was created to commemorate the tragic Ankara Train Station massacre, which took place on October 10, 2015. Thousands of civilians, activists, labor unions, and political groups had gathered for an organized "Labor, Peace, and Democracy" rally to call for peace and an end to the escalating domestic and regional conflict. The blasts killed over 100 innocent civilians and injured more than 500 others, making it the deadliest terrorist attack in modern Turkish history.
